Manage retrofits

Manage retrofits of your buildings in the BuildingMinds Platform. Get an overview of planned, completed, or retrofits in progress and filter the overview by continent, country, and region down to the building level. View the impact of individual retrofits on the stranding risk, energy intensity, and carbon intensity for each building. Based on the retrofits added to each building and the entered CapEx, the impact on costs and carbon emissions for the entire portfolio is simulated in the Retrofit simulations dashboard. Access retrofit management

There are two ways to access the Retrofit management.One option is when editing information under Digital twin you can manage retrofits for each selected building under the Retrofit tab.

1. Select a building using the custom or geographic view. For more information, see Access your real-estate objects.

2. Select the Digital twin tab.

3. Select the Retrofit tab.

   A list of retrofits for the selected building opens.

You can do the following with the list:

• Search by retrofit name.

• Sort by Year and Status.

• Filter the list by Year, Status, and Type.

Another option is accessing the Retrofit simulation dashboard under Sustainability to manage Retrofits for all buildings of the selected geography element in the left-side menu.

1. Access tab Retrofit management. For more information, see retrofit management.

2. Click + Add.

3. If you have not already selected the building to which you want to add the retrofit in the left-side menu, select the building under Related real-estate objects.

   You can use the search to find your building.

4. Enter the information. For more information, see retrofit information.

5. Click Update preview to get an overview of how the measure influences the following factors of this building.

   • Stranding risk

   • Energy intensity

   • Carbon intensity

6. Click Add to add the retrofit to the portfolio and to trigger the calculations for the Retrofit simulations.

Edit retrofit

1. Access the Retrofit management.
   For more information, see retrofit management.

2. Click on the retrofit which you want to edit.

3. Click on ... and select Edit.

4. Change the information. For more information, see retrofit information.

5. Click Update preview to get an overview of how the changes influence the following factors of this building.

   • Stranding risk

   • Energy intensity

   • Carbon intensity

6. Click Save to update the retrofit and to trigger the update of the Retrofit simulation dashboard.

Delete retrofit

1. Access the Retrofit management. For more information, see Access retrofit management.

2. Check the check box of one or several retrofits you want to delete from the retrofit list.

3. Click  Delete.

4. Confirm with Delete.
