Lease events

The Lease event tab of the Lease management dashboard reports event types and contract values, enabling you to manage contract validity over time. You can access the tab under Asset management, Lease management, and Lease events.

Select between Lease-in and Lease-out under Controls to view your lease-in or lease-out events.

Events

Information	Description
Development over time	View the different event types and their contract values like gross rent and gross rentable area of buildings over time. Get an overview of which contracts are expiring or have their notice period in the near future to take further actions. Lease events are divided into the following: - Contract start - Contract end - Notice period Circles in the graph represent each contract and the size indicates the gross rentable areas. The color represents the event type and the position indicates the gross rent. On the Month-from-today-axis, you can use the slider to display lease events from the past, future, or around the current month. The 0 represents the current month. For more details on each contract, hover over the circle.
Total events	Total number of lease events in the portfolio.
Contracts end events	Number of contracts with a contract end.
Contract start events	Number of contracts with a contract start.
Notice period events	Number of contracts with a notice period.

Contract dates

This section displays detailed contract dates information like contract start and end dates, the notice period, and the notice period date. Select one contract from the list and click on Go to details to display the contract information. View the different contract date, sort the list per date, and have an in-depth overview of lease contract data. You can view the following information in the detailed view.

Information	Description
Location	View the location information of the building to which the contract is connected. - Continent - Country - Region - City - Address
KPIs	View the following KPIs of the contract. - Yearly rent of the contract - Number of employees using the building - Number of workspaces in the building - Remaining lease months of the contract - Monthly cost per employee Calculation: Monthly rent of the contract divided by the number of employees.
Past events	View the following past lease events in a list. - Contract start - Contract end - Notice period
Upcoming events	View the following upcoming lease events in a list. Upcoming events more than 90 days away are displayed in green. Events between 30 and 90 days away are displayed in yellow, and events less than 30 days away from today are marked in red. - Contract start - Contract end - Notice period
Notice period	Get information on the notice period and the notice date for the contract.

Contract with no end date

This table displays all contracts without a contract end date where either the end date is missing in the data or contracts that do not have an end date because they are open-ended lease agreements. To identify the contracts where data is missing, select a contract and click on Go to details. You view the following detailed information.

Notice period	Get information on the notice period and the notice date for the contract.

Filters and controls

Controls	Description
Lease type	Select if you want to view KPIs and data for Lease-in or Lease-out.
Rent type	Select if you want to view your cost KPIs based on the Basic rent or Additional rent (total rental costs).

Filter	Description
Date	Select a time period to display data in the dashboard.
Event type	Select between the following event types and display data on the dashboard for just one type. - Contract start - Contract end - Notice period
Building type	Filter the KPIs by building types to get information and decide on specific scenarios, e.g. just view data for Offices in the portfolio.
Building subtype	Filter the KPIs by building subtypes to get information and decide on specific scenarios, e.g. just view data for Corporate offices in the portfolio.
