Before adding work areas or workspaces to your building's floors, you must define your work area types in the Workspace management settings.
Work area type defines the kind of work for which an area in the office building is used, e.g., silent office work, collaborative work, etc. Work area types are defined in the Workspace management settings. Users define work area types for the complete portfolio. The kind of work associated with a specific work area type needs to be defined by your organization beforehand as part of the workspace management concept.
