Data coverage

The Data Coverage dashboard provides an overview of resource consumption data quality in the Resources and Emissions module. It categorizes data into five segments: metered (high accuracy), extrapolated (medium accuracy), estimated (low accuracy), unspecified, and missing.

This dashboard connects data quality to functionality by showing the share of metered data and resource consumption intensity for each building. It also aids in outlier detection and correction by linking users to a Data Management interface for streamlined editing.

Data coverage comparison by year, quarter or month

Information	Description
Metered	View year-over-year, quarter to quarter, month-over month building's metered data.
Estimated	View year-over year, quarter to quarter, month-over month building's estimated data.
Extrapolated	View year-over year, quarter to quarter, month-over month building's extrapolated data.
Unspecified	View year-over year, quarter to quarter, month-over month building's unspecified data.
Missing	View year-over year, quarter to quarter, month-over month building's data reported as missing.

Metered data and energy intensity

View the energy intensity of the buildings in your portfolio in relation to their share of metered data (high-accurate data).

Detailed breakdown by year, quarter or month

Information	Description
Building	View the building name.
Type	View the building's resource type (e.g. energy).
Sub-type	View the building's resource sub-type.
Unit	View the energy consumption's unit measure.
Reference area	View the building's reference area.
Consumption (years/quarters/monthly)	View the building's yearly/quarterly/monthly consumption.
Go to Data management	Go to the operational management of the selected building.

Filters

Information	Description
Year	View building data based on the year.
Starting month	Select the starting month for the period to see the data coverage (e.g. fiscal year).
Data source	Select the data source to visualize in the dashboard (e.g. only metered data).
Resource type	View building data based on resource type.
Building status	View building data, based on the building status (e.g. currently in portfolio).

Gross rental area	View data per gross rental area.
