Add additional addresses

Addresses are initially added when adding a site, building, or land to the BuildingMinds Platform. For adding a site, building or land, see Add site, Add building or Add land. You can also add multiple addresses to sites and buildings where several addresses apply after adding a site or building.

Note

You do not have access rights if the Add, Edit, or Delete buttons are inactive. To get the permissions, please contact your BuildingMinds administrator.

Open the site or building.
To open real-estate objects, see Access your real-estate objects.
Select the tab Addresses.
Click Add address.
Enter the address with one of the following options:

When entering an address manually, you can add an additional address related to the building in the field Alternative address.
You can add multiple addresses to a site or building. To add another address, click Add address.
Select the address that you want to use as the main address for reports and the map pin.
When you add only one address to the building, site, or land, this address is automatically set as the main address and the map pin. If you add more addresses, you can select which one will be the main address by selecting it in the list.
When entering an address manually, you can add an additional address related to the building in the field Alternative address.
