Add area measurement
Area measurement can be applied to Site, Building, Floor, Space and Land. It is also possible to add specific area measurements to Rental units.
Select the building for which you want to manage the area measurement. For more information, see Access your real-estate objects.
Navigate to the tab Digital twin and then to the tab Area measurements.
Click
Add.
It is now possible to proceed with the following options:
In case the button is disabled, please contact your organization's BuildingMinds administrator to get higher permissions on the building.
The color at the beginning of each line indicates whether the area measurement value was provided by the user (green) or estimated by BuildingMinds (blue).
4a. In case you opt for Main measurements:
Enter all required data
Estimations can be turned on in case not all five area measurement values are available.
Those will be calculated based on the actual value(s) provided. For more information on estimations, see Area measurement estimations.Click Add to save the item.
The newly added area measurements will now be visible in the table.
4b. In case you opt for Other measurements:
Enter all required data
Click Add to save the item.
The newly added area measurements will now be visible in the table.
All fields marked with * are mandatory.
