Green Building Certificate report

The Green Building Certificate report provides a consolidated view of buildings with valid green building certifications within your portfolio. It enables sustainability managers, asset managers, and property managers to monitor certification coverage, analyze key performance indicators, and take informed actions to improve sustainability performance.

The report includes interactive charts, filters, and detailed tables. Data is accessible at both portfolio and site levels, and you can filter by construction year and certificate type to tailor the report to your needs.

Filters:
The report includes two primary filters that apply to all sections:

  • Construction year

  • Type of certificates

Report Cards and Details:

Card 1: Top KPIs

  • Displays key metrics including:

    • Building count: Number of buildings with at least one valid certificate (e.g., 33/252 – 13.1%).

    • Gross floor area (m² or ft²): Total area associated with certified buildings, shown according to the user settings.

    • Gross asset value (EUR): Valuation of buildings with valid certificates.

Card 1
  • Learning: Helps sustainability and asset managers track certification coverage across the portfolio; property managers can review site-level metrics.

Card 2: Certificate Total

  • Shows the total number of certificates at any portfolio level.

  • Learning: Provides a quick snapshot of overall certification numbers across the portfolio.

Card 3: Number of Certificates

  • Displays total certificates split by certificate type.

  • Hovering over a bar reveals:

    • Total certificates per category

    • Maximum, minimum, and average scores

  • Learning: Helps managers understand the distribution and health of green building certifications across the portfolio.

Card 4: Coverage Across the Portfolio

  • Visualizes certificate coverage by continent, country, region, and site.

  • Purple bars indicate buildings with at least one valid certificate; grey bars indicate buildings without.

  • Learning: Provides a clear visual representation of certification coverage throughout the portfolio.

Card 5: Detailed Breakdown

  • Shows all relevant fields of the green building certificate in a table, downloadable as .csv or .xlsx:

    • Building name, building code, country, certificate type, type of certificates, score, area, link, valid until, days to expiry, evidence

  • You can expand, hide, sort, and customize columns using the data grid functionality.

Card 5
  • Learning: Enables you to download and share detailed certificate reports with stakeholders at any portfolio level.

Please note
  • Filters are applied globally across the report.

  • Only valid certificates are counted in KPIs and charts.
