Roles

The Roles page shows the list of all roles for your organization. For each role, you can see its Name, Type and Description.

When you click on a specific role, you’ll see its details, including Role type and Permissions assigned to that role.

Access the page

  1. Select the Admin panel icon in the left menu.

  2. Select the Roles under Permission management.

Create a new role

To create a new role:

  1. Enter Role Information

    • Role name

    • Role description

    • Role type (e.g., Asset, Feature, Dashboard, Admin, Tenant Insights)

  2. Based on the role type, the interface will display the relevant entities you can assign permissions to.
    For example, if you choose
    Asset, you can:

    • Select between Buildings or Sites.

    • Use filters such as Geography, Custom structure, Building type, Ownership, and Building status to narrow down your selection.

    • Multi-select items from each row or select all records from the header. The number of selected items is shown near the table header.

Note

If you change asset filters, the current selection will reset, and you’ll need to reselect the items you want.

Edit a role

You can edit any role from the Roles list and update its permissions.
